Note: when you download the readme from MyOracle, from CP9 Oracle has placed the new bug fixes at the top of the list.
So far this cumulative patch has been released for the following platforms:
- IBM AIX on POWER systems (64-bit)
- Linux x86
- Microsoft Windows 32-bit
- Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)
Note: please take a look at the comments posted below and if anyone has any experience of CP10, good or bad, please let me know.

FYI I've been requesting this patch since the certificate expired in March. However oracle still maintain that this is not yet released - "as I updated a few days ago the CP10 not released yet." They maintain that this patch is only for testing at the moment.

Hello, I checked again on Oracle's website and as of 5:50pm Eastern on Monday, May 16, 2011 the status of this cumulative patch is General. This means it is available for general release and usage.
I did notice that someone has posted an issue with CP10 and needed to roll back to CP9

At last I have an update;
"According to the last discussion with the BDE team, a few NLS (locale Japanese) problems are preventing the final release of CP10."
And a bit of detail on persisting we needed to use it;
"
1. Plus is always geting launched in English irrespective of localy (Japanese) chosen
2. Excel export hangs when a workbook name has a leading spaces
"
hope this helps others.
