Hope things are going well for you and interesting you should post this question :-) I am currently getting a little tired of changing the property "item class" on elements in folders so they can become a LOV. Lets assume Type of Animal is a LOV. If in a business area you have 10 folders that have the item "Type of Animal" do you really have to visit each one and make it a LOV so a report has a pull down parameter OR is there a way to make a generic LOV such that the element in the folder is not a LOV but the parameter for the element is? So basically, could you start a thread on Best Practices for useing and making LOV's. Appreciate your expertise and thanks for keeping up this blog.
